- Who are we & why buy from us?
- We are based in Sydney, NSW and our primary focus is lure trolling & switchbaiting. To that end, we have concentrated on building a range to satisfy even the most discerning of anglers. We have a comprehensive listing of many of the world’s leading skirted lure brands; including several exclusive lines that are available in Australia only through Gamefish Base, together with a complete range of rigging gear & accessories to suit. We have focussed on keeping our range small & specialised, with the central focus being high-quality skirted lures.

- Whilst we try to keep a large amount of stock on-hand in our 'warehouse' (a secure storage facility), there may be some items on your order that are not on-hand, in which case they will be immediately sourced from our suppliers. This means our dispatch times on some orders can extend to 3 or 4 business days. We have found that hardcore gamefishermen are willing to wait a couple of extra days if it means they can find exactly what they want. Of course, if an item is in stock then it will be shipped the same or next business day.
- Are you chasing a certain lure, in a certain skirt colour combo? We try to help by offering our customers the widest possible choice in variations, including many lures and other items that are near impossible to source through regular outlets. If you can't see your favourite lure listed on our website, then please email us to check whether we are able to source it for you - chances are that we can. We try to make the process of sourcing hard to find gamefishing products just that little bit easier. No longer are you restricted to buying only what is ‘on the wall’, as all lures are skirted & rigged to order, exactly how you want them!
- Our other major point of difference is that we are able to offer the product knowledge & practical know-how that is specific to the products we are selling. Need help selecting the right lure for the job? Maybe you're looking for advice on how to best rig your lures or how to build an effective spread to suit your local conditions? We can help with sound professional advice, backed by practical experience.
