The Dragon is the first model in the Baillie Custom line and is a unique design that really stirs up the bites. The Dragon was originally developed off a Murray Bros. LNG3 lure by the late Joe Ritchie of Jay Ah fame. 

The Dragon is an extremely dynamic lure, thanks to its very sharp face angle and steep, forward taper. It is keel weighted to maintain balance and is a surprisingly stable swimmer despite its radical profile. Like all slanted lures, it really excels in calm conditions, although this one will also continue to swim well in all but the roughest of seas. It is best run from the outrigger positions, with the long rigger being the best spot of all. With the extended leash on the LR, the Dragon will dart from side to side as it throws off a big rooster tail spray.

If you fish for Blue Marlin, this is the lure for you! Large Striped Marlin also find it very difficult to resist, and we believe the Dragon deserves a spot in any serious lure trollers arsernal. Our very own pro-team member Capt. Hoggy has experienced great success with the Dragon, having caughts loads of Blue Marlin on it both locally in Australia and during his seasons spent in Madeira, Portugal, where some of the fish he took on it were 800lb+.

Available in natural Paua Shell or Blue Lava finish. All heads are hard, keel weighted and feature a plastic/brass combo leader tube. This combo protects your leader at the front of the lure, whilst still allowing you to effectively peg your hook sets in the rear of the head without damaging the tube.
