The Copa Teardrop is the short position master, doing its best work from both the short rigger and short corner positions. It has also proven to be quite effective when run from the long flatline as well.  A slant-face design with a distinct teardrop taper that bulges towards the rear of the head. It swims with a strong action, making plenty of fuss on the surface before diving down into the fish’s path. Being lead weighted, it will continue to swim strongly in all sea conditions, while the thick mother of pearl inserts flash like the natural sheen of a baitfish, and the balanced brass jet tubes work their magic.

The Copa Teardrop is a special on Blue Marlin and big Striped Marlin, drawing impressive bites from both. Larger Blacks will also find the Copa Teardrop to be particularly appealing. A great lure for the short rigger position, although equally at home on either flatline.
