Coggin’s Da’Bomb Bullet features an elongated teardrop bullet design. This classic styling is favoured by Hawaiian anglers when chasing jumbo Yellowfin Tuna; however it should be noted that both Blue & Striped Marlin also find this lure to be irresistible.

Whilst bullet-head lures of this style are not commonly used in Australian waters, anglers who give this lure time in the water will soon discover just how effective they really are. Try running it from your Shotgun, Long Rigger or straight down the centre of the spread, and you will fast be rewarded with a terrific hookup rate on Marlin, Tuna and big Mahi Mahi.

Da’Bomb Bullet is lead weighted for perfect balance, and features oversized mother of pearl inserts that throw off a large amount of natural flash. Whilst this is a real ‘set & forget’ trap that you can drop out the back and troll without thought, you will find an increase in strikes if you raise the towing angle to get it ‘skittering’ on the surface, leaving a skinny bubble trail in its wake. You will note the lure swimming with a strong weaving action after it skitters across the top, and it is this ‘skitter & weave’ action that Blue Marlin and Jumbo Tuna find irresistible. A very underrated lure in Australian waters!
